As the world grapples with an overwhelming and relentless extraterrestrial threat, humanity is racing against time. In the midst of turmoil and an imminent apocalypse, Dan Forester a former Green Beret First Sergeant, biology educator, and devoted father finds himself navigating through a treacherous, alien-infested cityscape, seeking both survival and clarity alongside an inexperienced battalion. The remaining defenders now bear the immense burden of global hope. Is there a possibility for redemption.
Dan Forester, a former military leader in Iraq turned science teacher, resides in the suburbs with his cherished wife, Emmy, and their young daughter, Muri. He aspires to work in a research lab and harbors resentment towards his estranged father, James, who abandoned the family during Dan’s childhood. During the 2022 World Cup, the final soccer match is disrupted by soldiers from the future who explain their need for individuals from the past to assist them in combating alien forces that are threatening humanity. Dan is compelled to enlist and is given a tracking bracelet. After attempting to defect, he jumps thirty years into the future, landing in Miami Beach, Florida, but only a few manage to survive due to a location error.
Leveraging his military background, Dan becomes the leader of the survivors and receives orders to rescue a research team located nearby before airstrikes target the city. Upon arrival, they discover that the researchers have been killed, but Dan manages to collect twelve important research samples. Only a handful of individuals survive the alien assault in Miami, and they are taken to a military camp in the Dominican Republic. Soon, Dan discovers that the head of the military resistance is his daughter, Colonel Muri Forester, who is working on a solution to eliminate a powerful alien female that reproduces continuously and is immune to the toxins intended to eradicate male aliens. Dan collaborates with her on this research, positioning them as Earth's last hope against the alien invaders.
